Retipping Service Due to the demands of our customers, Zoll-Dental began offering a retipping service in 1999. Zoll-Dental offers one of the highest quality retipping services available on the market today. Using the same heat-treated 440A surgical grade stainless steel tips as in our new instruments, Zoll-Dental retips with quality in mind. Zoll-Dental will retip not only our instruments but other brands as well. All instruments are inspected prior to and after retipping to see that the integrity of the handle has not been compromised. New tips are press fit into the handle along with a sealant to ensure they stay fast and moisture from cleaning and sterilizing does not get into the handle. Using this sealant is an extra step that not all retippers use and is another way that Zoll-Dental makes the effort to give you the best possible product to treat your patients.
